CELEBRATING 46 YEARS OF SERVICE TO SAULT STE. MARIE
Each year our Kiwanis Club selects certain individuals to receive awards.
The President is elected by the members of the Club, after having served as President Elect for the previous year.
The Kiwanian of the Year is selected by the President based on the members dedication and contributions to the Club in that particular year.
The Harvey Buchan Award is awarded when a member is nominated by another member. Their candidacy must then be reviewed by Committee composed of the President and the last two recipients of the award. The candidate is judged on both their contributions to Kiwanis and the Community along with other criteria. The Committee must approve the nomination. This award is not necessarily presented each year.
